Pay attention on these sentences:

* Elias is older than Daniele (old)
** Elias  è mais velho do que Daniele.

 ### " Old"  é um adjetivo pequeno , por isso devemos acrescentar as letras "er" para fazer o comparativo. Sempre devemos usar a palavra "than" quando estivermos comparando.

*English is more interesting than Spanish (interesting)
**Inglês è mais interessante do que Espanhol

### " Interesting" é um adjetivo grande , por isso não modificamos o adjetivo, apenas colocamos a palavra "more" antes. Sempre devemos usar a palavra " than' quando estivermos comparando.

>>> Podemos concluir que para adjetivos maiores usamos a palavra "more" antes do adjetivo e depois usamos a palavra "than"antes do substantivo ou pronome.

1-  The teacher is more attractive  than Brad Pitt.
2-  Lula is more homely than Dilma.
3-  Bruna is more   graceful than Maisa.
4- Daniele is more beautiful than Angelina Jolie

>>> Concluimos tambem que para adjetivos menores não usamos a palavra "more", ao invès disso, acrescentamos "er" ao adjetivo e usamos a palavra "than"antes do substantivo ou pronome.

1- My teacher is fatter than Jô Soares.
2- Bruna is thinner than a rake.
3- Maguila is stronger than Mike tison
4-  Barrichello is faster than a turtle (kkk)

Regras de exceção

1- Adjetivos menores formados com a sequência  CVC "consoante , vogal, consoante" (Fat, hot, big...):

>>> dobra -se a última consoante antes de acrescentar "er"(fatter, hotter, bigger)

2- Adjetivos menores terminados em "y"precedido por consoante (easy, ugly,happy...)

>>> troca - se o "y" por "i" antes de acrescentar "er"(easier,uglier,happier)

3- Esses adjetivos, apesar de serem menores, recebem a palavra "more" para o comparativo ( real, right. just, wrong)...(verdadeiro, correto, justo, errado)

* more real than = mais verdadeiro do que
* more right than = mais correto do que
* more just than = mais justo do que
* more wrong than = mais errado do que
