Lesson fourteen - Comparative/Superlative of inferiority

To create sentences using the comparative of inferiority is very , very easy. The only thing you are supposed to do is using the word " less " before the adjective and the word " than ' after it. You can use ' less" for both short and long adjectives. Let's see some examples:

a) Valdívia is less good than Ronaldo.
b) My car is less fast than yours.
c) Serra is less intelligent than Lula.
d) Bruna is less smart than Daniele.
e) Teacher J.B. is less liar than Elias.
f) Cidade Tiradentes is less dangerous than Ribeirão Pires.
g) I have less friends than you.
h) My life is less complicated than yours.
i) Lucelia santos is less adorable than Andressa Soares.
j) Giselle Bundchen is less attractive than Patricia Pillar.
k) The night in São Paulo is less glamorous than the night in New York.
l) Christmas tree is less gleaming than the gay parade.
m) Wearing jeans in a social event is less groteque than wearing black-tie in a children birthday party.
n) being homely is less odd than say I love you to someone you don't.
o) The farm is less annoying than Election period on tv.

You see? as I told you before, comparative of inferiority is a piece of cake! I mean, it's easy a lot! Would you believe me if I said that superlative of inferiority is easier? Yeah, it is! So easy that I prefer to explain everything in class. Let's learn it at the same time we practice.

In order to satisfy your curiosity I will just say that you only change the expression " the most " ( used for superlative of superiority ) by the expression " the least" ( used for comparative of inferiority.)
